Companies like Big Fish Games, Cheezburger Network and Tableau Software once sat on the GeekWire 200, our ranking of privately owned tech startups in the Pacific Northwest. Since then, they have “closed” the list after growing up and going through an acquisition or IPO.

Fast forward to today, and startups like Auth0 and Rover are in the top 10. But these two growing companies are also soon to close – Okta’s acquisition of Auth0 is slated to close this year, and Rover will be sent to the via a SPAC Go stock exchange.

Which companies will rise to the top and next “graduate” from shoddy startup to big tech player?

Read on for information from this month’s GeekWire 200 rankings, which uses publicly available data to identify emerging tech startups the most popular and popular tech companies in key online communities. The top 10: The seven largest companies have stayed the same since last month. Tanium, a cybersecurity company that relocated its headquarters from San Francisco to the Seattle area last year, debuted at number 7 on the GeekWire 200 in December, and has since moved up one spot and is currently number 6.

Also in motion is Outreach, the sales enablement software startup valued at more than $ 1 billion that has moved up two places to eighth place since last month.

If Auth0 and Rover make it into the top 10, there will be vacancies left – companies like OfferUp (No. 11), Moz (No. 12), PayScale (No. 13), Puppet (No. 14) and Clio (No. 15 ) are potential participants.
