Case in point: It is not often that a product is so sought after that it receives its own Instagram hashtag and generates a TikTok tag that has been viewed more than 6.1 million times.

What is special about a mirror? For one thing, there is this design. “The Gleaming Primrose Mirror was inspired by French antique gold-plated mirrors that can be seen all over Paris,” said Louie Higaki, home decor, furniture and children division manager at Anthropologie. And it’s true, if you look at the mirror up close, it’s full of baroque details at its tip and rim – from delicate flowers and dramatic swirls to countless tiny spheres that would make you believe you were at a Parisian flea market across it. Let’s put it this way: the mirror is extravagant and beautiful and definitely worth thinking about.
“Mirrors this size are hard to find and add a luxurious, high-end glamor to any room,” said Nichole Turner Blough, an interior designer in Raleigh, North Carolina. “The simple elegance of the Primrose can be combined with almost any style decor. You can’t go wrong with such a timeless piece. Adds influencer Rosanna Javier from Glam Dapper, “I love things for my home that add value or a wow factor. This particular mirror does that with its unique design that pays homage to another era. And to be honest, I feel like I’m in Paris when I look at the mirrors in Versailles. ”
Another good news is that the Gleaming Primrose is also a design chameleon. Now available in four sizes and in gold, silver and black – yes, they were sold out, but don’t worry, they are back in stock – the mirror is like the jeans in “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”; it fits perfectly wherever it lands. Take the smallest 3-foot version (which is not exactly “small” at 39 inches by 39 inches and 75 pounds!). We have seen it hanging in dining rooms, on coats, in a closet, on a dresser in a master bedroom, and beyond. Another idea suggests Blough: “Buy two matching versions in silver or gold and place them over a vanity in the main bathroom for instant glamor.”

And let’s not even start with the tallest 7 foot tall option, which in case you’re wondering, is 64 inches wide and weighs a whopping 200 pounds. The ultimate selfie mirror not only casually dominates the room it is in, it also adds drama as it illuminates and enlarges the room. “My personal dream way of styling the largest size is by leaning it against a wall in a large entryway,” says Blough.
Because when it comes to mirrors, size matters. I’m a stylish blogger Tiffany Ishiguro has a shiny primrose over her mantle. “It’s an easy piece, but it will transform your room,” she says. “Instead of thinking about putting together a full gallery wall, which takes a lot of work, the mirror takes up a lot of space but looks nice and is easy to decorate.”
If there is one downside, it is the high price of Gleaming Primrose. Starting at just under $ 500 for the 3-foot size and a maximum of just over $ 1,500 for the 7-foot size, the mirror is sure to be an investment. But if we looked at it in person, we can confirm that the product is not only beautiful, but also incredibly well made and something that you will have in your home forever. Blogger Sarah Elizabeth Ray, who owns two shiny primroses, adds, “It’s honestly worth every penny. If you are discussing buying this mirror, don’t argue anymore. You’ll be so glad to have it on your wall for everyone to see! ”
Check out the shiny primrose in its various sizes and finishes below, and check out the many (many!) Ways it is styled in coast-to-coast homes that we all saw on good ol ‘Gram.
If Joanna Gaines has approved it, you will be in good company, which is exactly the case here. When creating a meeting room for her team in the Magnolia office in Waco, Texas, Gaines wanted a space where everyone could be creatively inspired. To get there, she went for a sultry green color (1905 Green Interior Paint, natch!), A pink velvet couch and of course the Gleaming Primrose Mirror from Anthropologie. If you lean the mirror against the wall and flank it with two chairs, side tables and plants in abundance, the result, according to Joanna’s words, is both “relaxed and inspiring”.
Seattle-based influencer Tiffany Ishiguro is a huge fan of the gleaming primrose she put on her coat. “Our coat is dark gray and it took a big piece like the mirror to breathe life into the room,” says Ishiguro, who has over 350,000 followers on Instagram. “The gold looks beautiful against the dark gray. I think it’s great that it’s a statement that instantly makes any room look bright and beautiful. It’s easy to style too. Whenever I change my decor for events or seasons, it goes with the theme, from decorating for Christmas to decorating for my daughter’s birthday party! ”
Glam Dapper’s Rosanna Javier and her husband Winston showed their nearly 470,000 followers exactly how to style a flawless dining room console with the Gleaming Primrose, and the couple had a chinoiserie vibe that we’re totally obsessed with. “This mirror is easy to style whether you want a boho-chic look, a classic Victorian aesthetic, or a contemporary concept,” she says. “Elements can also be hung up for the festive season to style them. All in all, a great piece of furniture for a home. ”
Interior designer Nichole Blough recently put a shiny primrose in a client’s dining room, placed it on a traditional white wooden console, but also flanked it with shiny blue and gold lamps and styled the tabletop with stacked books, flowers and of course a dash of chinoiserie with it the ceramic glass. “When buying an investment property for your space, make sure the following check boxes are checked: 1. It feels timeless (not overly trendy). 2. It can be versatile in the long run if you change your space. 3. You love it! “Says Blough. “The most important thing is that it fits your style. If I tick all the boxes, I think this subtle statement is worth the price. ”
Proof that the shiny primrose works in any setting? The mirror looks right at home in Sarah Elizabeth Ray’s stunning farmhouse in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she placed it in her bedroom on a dark wooden dresser adorned with a towering orchid, a candle and the hottest piece of decoration right now, a wooden bead garland, is accented. “I love the Primrose Mirror because it’s a work of art that reflects you in all your beauty,” says Ray, whose Instagram account has more than 350,000 followers. “I have black and gold and both are super high quality. While the smaller ones are nice over a dresser and coat, I like to style the larger ones in the living room over a console table with flowers and candles. ”
Jillian Harris, former Bachelorette and former co-host of HGTV’s “Love It or List It,” has long loved the shiny primrose – it’s got the 3-foot-foot in gold – that she put on her farmhouse over the years -chic coat and in her bedroom. Our favorite spot, however, is decidedly on their seaside-inspired outdoor deck, where it’s flanked by two lamps, a giant tree, and tons of cocktails.
Brooklyn blogger Teresa Laura Caruso has two shiny primrose mirrors, one of which she has in her bedroom, to create the ultimate glamor station next to her bed. The mirror sits on a simple white desk and adds a ton of style to the influencer’s chic space. “I have the 3-foot version in my bedroom [and] We also have the 5-foot version in our living area, ”she told her 657,000 Instagram followers. “It was definitely an investment, but one of my all-time favorite home decor purchases.” See how Caruso styled the larger version on a blue dresser (yes, really!) In her living room.
Chicago blogger Yunah Lee proves that the Gleaming Primrose is perfect for everything from your flawless # OOTD posts to classy selfie shots with your cat. We love the way she casually leans the giant 7-footer against her bedroom wall, accentuating the gold in her chandelier and adding some glamor to her cozy, neutral-colored room.
Modern design blogger and interior designer Bre Bertolini tends to gush over her shiny primrose, and we understand why – she looks gorgeous in her entryway in Youngstown, Ohio. “THIS MIRROR! It looks good anywhere, in any home, whatever your style, ”she told her nearly 150,000 Instagram followers, adding that it’s“ such a show stopper ”. We love how Bertolini juxtaposed the ornate gold details of the frame against her antique table, accentuating the tableau with a black stone vase, artwork, and stacked books.
@ Twopeasinablog’s identical twin sisters Katey and Betsy show that one of the gleaming primrose’s best skills is highlighting the high ceilings of a house. The huge mirror is located in a sitting area and shows the open and airy features of the room.
