Tech Moves: Andy Sack joins Payability board; Puppet adds execs; LevelTen Energy names CCO

– Longtime Seattle startup leader and investor Andy Sack joined the board of directors of Payability, a New York City-based fintech startup. Sack previously ran Techstars Seattle and co-founded Founders’ Co-op, where he was previously a managing partner. He also founded Lighter Capital and is currently the chairman of the Code Fellows, which he also founded.

Payability is led by serial entrepreneur Keith Smith, who previously co-founded Seattle-based BigDoor and which he sold in 2015. Smith moved to New York City and started Payability, which helps e-commerce sellers with cash flow and delivering working capital services. He was also the founder and CEO of CyberMortgage and Zango.

Cloud infrastructure automation startup Puppet continues to expand its leadership team by promoting Beth Shea as chief customer officer and adding Trevor Rodriguez as global vice president of professional services.

Shea joined Puppet in 2019 as the Customer Success SVP and was previously an executive at Veeam Software. Rodriguez was most recently at F5 Networks, where he served as vice president of global services and engineering services for the EMEA region. He will be based out of Puppet’s London office.

– Clean Energy Marketplace, LevelTen Energy, has promoted Ryan Warren to Chief Commercial Officer. He joined the Seattle startup in 2020 as Vice President of Marketing. Warren was previously Vice President of Marketing at EnergySavvy, another clean energy startup that Tendril acquired in 2019.
