A 30-minute video by Housemarque combines elements of multiple runs, giving us the best glimpse yet of what players in the suit of Selene, an explorer who seems to have collapsed on a strange world, will experience.
Different biomes have different feel and enemies approaching the player differently. As with some of the other single player games we’ve seen over the years, the game will occasionally overlap with the experience of other players. You may see a shadow of a defeated player that you can avenge, or even their return as an infected enemy to fight against.
