‘Ted Lasso’ season two hits Apple TV+ on July 23rd

Embedded in all of the hardware announcements Apple shared today at its Spring Forward event, the company had a fun surprise for Apple TV + subscribers waiting for something new to be seen on the service. Ted Lasso’s second season begins streaming on July 23. If you’re not familiar with the show, she plays Jason Sudeikis as an always positive football coach who runs an English football team.

The only problem is that he has no experience in sports. In season two, Lasso’s team, AFC Richmond, find themselves in a difficult position. The team have drawn eight straight but that doesn’t seem to have dampened their excitement. Sudeikis won a number of awards for his performance as a lasso last season and the show is one of Apple’s breakout originals.
